A dry, light-bodied wine, much like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Gris, with a smooth oily like richness that adds a little extra punch.
|
Pale straw yellow color, with delicate greenish highlights. Its scent is floral, subtle and fruity. Pleasantly dry and cool. It goes well with any dish. We recommend tasting it with
seafood.
|
Organoleptic characteristics: straw-yellow with greenish
tinges. Intense bouquet. Suave, round, lingering taste pleasing blend of
floral and honeyed (but not sweet) flavors. The flavors and acidity are, in
well-made specimens, elegantly balanced. It is interesting that some
descriptions have it as a notably high-acid wine, while other reviewers
describe it as soft and moderate to low in acid; presumably those are simply
the results of different vinification methods.
A touch of Salt…yep because it is close to sea.

Fume Blanc exhibits alluring notes of ripe Nectarine, Lemon zest and citrus
blossom, all underlined by complex toasted cashew aromas from the barrel
fermentation. The palate is vibrant in its’ youth, with juicy natural acidity,
flavours of Lemongrass and Ruby Grapefruit and just a hint of caramel on the
finish. These flavours will mellow over time and provide a wonderfully complex
drinking experience for years to come.

100% Roussanne. Subtle aromas of acacia, beeswax, quince, almonds, honey and white peach. Clean, smooth and refreshing. Swirls of orange blossom and vanilla introduce this richly textured Roussanne. Soft, honeyed flavors of tangerine and pear are broad and expansive on the palate, accented by hints of earth and sunny lemon acidity. Drink now through 2021.Great with exotic foods using interesting spices.

Wine obtained exclusively from the grapes of the typical autochthonous variety, carefully selected among the best grapes of the vines cultivated in the property located in one of the most historical areas of their designation. Of straw yellow colour, with greenish reflexes, it is characterised by elegant scents, pleasantly fruity and intense, with delicate citrus tones. It is a fresh and tasty wine, full-bodied, with a pleasant persistence of aftertaste.

Classic characteristics of marine climate wines, with distinct mineral and saline notes, citrusy fruit and crisp, cool-climate acidity. The Cotes de Grandlieu is considered the premier appellation of Muscadet, and La Berriere tends to vines of more than 30+ years, resulting in wines of great concentration, minerality and depth of flavor. Perhaps the most perfect shellfish wine!

Aromas
of citrus, apple and acacia. quite rich, full of character, with a long finish.
|
Viognier dominates the blend (50%) both in aromatics and depth on the palate. This is complimented by the texture and flavor components of Grenache Blanc (30%) and Roussanne (20%) that seems to be the glue tying it all together. The floral and sweet pitted fruit character on the nose is a result of the increased proportion of Viognier and Roussanne in the blend and carries forward through the palate and on to the finish. All the while, Grenache Blanc offers its characteristic rich mouthfeel adding the perfect back drop to the luscious fruit balanced by good acidity lending a sense of unity and balance. The balance and structure of the mid-palate continue on the finish with notes of white pitted fruit, pear and a touch of citrus for added complexity.

With consistent high marks from Connoisseurs Guide to California Wine, The Wine Advocate and Wine Enthusiast, this may be as close to a sure thing as you will ever find. Vibrant fruit (peach, apricot, fig) coupled with richness and complexity; this is an alternative white that’s easy to love.

Highest vineyard in Sta Rita Hills, Sauvignon Blanc from Vogelzang Vineyard highly sought after spot in Happy Canyon and Grenache Blanc from Tierra Alta Vineyard, a great Rhone focused vineyard in Ballard Canyon where many great Grenache Blanc originate.

While everyone loved the Vice Versa, many of our customers urged us to try producing a dry, rather than off-dry, Semillon. After experimenting with various blends, our final cuvee is 83% Semillon and 17% Sauvignon Blanc. The resulting wine is voluptuous with a silky smooth mouthfeel and a very nice acid balance. The wine exhibits traditional Semillon notes of fig, but also expresses honeydew melon aromatics and flavors.
