J.L. DENOIS, LIMOUX Classique Brut- Vin Mousseaux de Qualite NV Pride Mountain Chardonnay 375mL Frostwatch: Chardonnay, Bennett Valley

Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Syrah, Chardonnay

A rare blend of "Blancs de Noirs" (white juice from 70% black grapes) bringing elegance, freshness and finesse. A fruity, red berry (currant) finish.

This Half-Bottle is crisp, elegant beauty is exuberantly aromatic, with notes of lemon curd, honeysuckle, rose oil, kaffir lime, melon and pear. The palate is bright, with characteristic acidity, viscosity on the mid-palate and a lovely lingering finish.

The 2013 vintage (like the 2012 vintage) was fantastic in Bennett Valley. The growing season was long with moderate temperatures and very low disease pressure in the vineyard. As with other Frostwatch Chardonnays, this wine is a blend of two different clonal selections. Clone 4 contributes a full mouthfeel with loads of red apple fruit, while fruit from the Platt-Wente Block contributes vibrant citrus notes and a touch of minerality. This wine continues to improve with additional bottle aging and still has yet to reach its full potential. The wine pairs well with a variety of foods but is rich and complex enough to drink on its own.

Montemar Ritas Crown Chardonnay Monticello Vineyards Chardonnay Monticello Vineyards: Chardonnay, Napa, Estate Grown
Highest vineyard in Sta Rita Hills, Sauvignon Blanc from Vogelzang Vineyard highly sought after spot in Happy Canyon and Grenache Blanc from Tierra Alta Vineyard, a great Rhone focused vineyard in Ballard Canyon where many great Grenache Blanc originate. Super creamy and buttery. No oak notes as you drink it. Lighter straw color and lingering taste. Our Chardonnay offers aromatics of citrus and green apple which are complemented by a very slight butterscotch aroma and a subtle layer of oak creaminess. The wine is medium-bodied and a well- balanced finish of acidity.
Pfendler: Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast Frostwatch Ophira Reserve Chardonnay Sonoma Pride Mountain Chardonnay
Pride Mountain Chardonnay
Our Price: $45.00
Golden straw in color, with heady aromas of honeysuckle, Asian pear, honeycomb, ripe apple and brioche. A honeyed mid-palate showing crisp lemon tart, crème brûlée, toasted spices and a scintillating acidity that keeps this sultry wine in impeccable balance. The 18 months of barrel aging and frequent lees stirring, coupled with the exceptional fruit from the Platt Wente Clone in 2014, give this wine the trademark laser-like focus, complexity and unctuous mouth feel expected from our Ophira reserve. The wine is drinking beautifully now but will get even better for several years at a minimum. The last vintage (2013) of the Ophira received excellent reviews (94 pts from the Wine Enthusiast, 91 Points from Connoisseurs Guide, 90 Points from The Wine Advocate and a Gold Medal at the Chronicle Wine Competition) but we feel that this vintage will be even better.

This crisp, elegant beauty is exuberantly aromatic, with notes of lemon curd, honeysuckle, rose oil, kaffir lime, melon and pear. The palate is bright, with characteristic acidity, viscosity on the mid-palate and a lovely lingering finish.

Kistler Chardonnay, Les Noisetiers, Sonoma Coast
Savory notes of toasted hazelnut, hay, river stone, dried white flowers and citrus peel with notions of honeycomb and lemon meringue. It's medium-bodied, intense, rounded and textural with tangy acidity to lift and a long, savory finish.
