Bathed in structure, a refined, exquisite Cabernet
built for drinking over the next decade.
It is 100% Cabernet that comes from Conner Lee and Hedges Estate
Vineyards. Offers a deep ruby color
and a classic nose of blackberry, cherry, blueberry, and cassis with scents of
black roses, tobacco, cedar, sandalwood and oriental incense. The flavors mirror the aromatics with fleshy,
yet deep and structured, dark fruits that are endowed with licorice,
bittersweet chocolate, and dusty earth and minerals. The concentration continues on the back with
macerated berries, roasted walnuts, toasty oak (100% new French) and pencil
lead, all leading seamlessly into a lingering sweet-dry tannin finish. 90 points, Wine Enthusiast

Spice up your life! Our Cabernet Franc offers aromatics of spice, cloves and anise. The flavors follow berry, currant and a little jam. The wine has a mid-weight attack, medium to full body. The tannins are well integrated and well balanced.
|
The wine reveals a deeply tinted, dark garnet color. The expressive aromas offer blackberry, mocha, coffee and lightly toasted oak. A full entry on the palate delivers a juicy core with moderate tannins and a lingering finish. Ebullient flavors stay in sync with the nose, echoing dark berries and mocha tones from start to end.
|
The exquisite layers of this wine result in precision and grace. Dense with color and body, blackberries, dark cherries, and pi¬quant cassis rise to a crescendo of flavor. The textured structure of the blend is evident at the mid-palate as silken tannins become superbly discernible. Leather, apple wood, pomegranate, fig, and tar notes combine with a bustling bazaar of exotic spices to charm the senses.

Pulse optimizes the vintage showing aromas of dried black cherries, currant, and sweet leather leading to a solid, rich middle core of black and red fruit tones. Concentrated mixed berries and rhubarb fill the palate complimented by a juicy and refreshing blend of earthy tannins, tobacco and currants lingering through a creamy seamless finish. Light shadings of chocolaty French oak tie these bold components together into a complex, powerful, but still approachable rendition of classic Cabernet Sauvignon from the highly regarded appellation of Rutherford.

This wine, made in a classic Burgundian style, exhibits aromas of honey, stone fruit and notes of melon. Flavors of yellow peach, toasty bread crust and mineral notes are crisp on the palate. This wine is full bodied and ready to enjoy now, yet also has potential for aging in your cellar.

This wine is offering wonderful aromas of dark blackberry, cassis, hints of vanilla, and undertones of sweet caramel from the barrels. On the palate, the wine is bold upon entry, with characteristically robust tannins on the edges of the palate. The midpalate is full, providing depth and a strong foundation. The finish is long and lingering, and with a slight grip, as is typical for this vineyard.

This wine is offering fantastic primary aromas of rich, ripe red-berry fruit. I find undertones of sweet vanillin oak and hints of caramel. On the palate the wine is massive, with a wonderful core of fruit on the full mid-palate. The balance of the wine from front to back is impeccable, and the finish is long and carries the fruit beautifully.

Roasted nuts, coffee and toasty oak create a complex range of red and dark fruits.
|
A distinctive cabernet, highlighted by rich dark chocolate, black currant and cassis flavors, finishing strong but smooth with obvious Oakville characteristics.

Stays fresh in the mouth with compelling structure and smoothness. 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, 2% Syrah, 2% Petit Verdot.
|
40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. The nose offers up graphite-laced blackcurrant with notes of aniseed, dark chocolate, blue f lowers and savory spices. The palate is full and grainy, its ripe fruits checked by mineral character, and it finishes very long and spicy. Only 90 cases were made. RP 94 points

Intense, herbal and sour-cherry aromas pour from this powerful but rather sleek wine that has a lot of drive. Really distinctive with a very attractive, crisp and very food-friendly finish. 92pts JS

From the newly minted Coombsville AVA Napa Valley, overlooked for many years, and unknown by many wine drinkers, the cooler area is considered one of the best in Napa for Cabernet Sauvignon, and has been called 'the future of Cabernet in Napa.' Impeccably balanced, superlative, definitive, harmonious, wonderful. Luscious raspberry, blueberry and cherry fruits laced with nuances of star anise, cedar and mocha lead into lovely caressing tannin in the mouth. Deepening complexities of violet floral, loam and mineral. The wine's components meld seamlessly in the deft oak-filled finish. A luxurious, alluring, pleasurable bottle of wine, it is the ultimate in caressing tannin in the mouth.
